Lopsided cheeks
Radiesse: Was not worth it
Cost: $1,500
Pain: Painfree
Satisfaction: Poor
After
a year of wishy-washy scheduling and canceling, I finally had intraoral
Radiesse injections to correct my sunken cheeks from weight loss. I did
not bruise and the procedure was not painful, but I swelled for a full
two weeks.
At over three weeks, one cheek looks fantastic while the other looks
lower than the other, leaving an unsightly bag/line of demarcation
under one eye. The result is that I have traded 'sunken' for
'asymmetric,' despite having the doctor massage the product twice.
I am sorry that I did this 'to myself' and hope that it lasts only 3 months as I've read that others have experienced.

Thanks for that information.
Have you tried anything else to fix your sunken cheeks?
What are you going to do next?
I also had intraoral radiess for cheek augmentation about two weeks ago and I dont like it at all. I can actually see where the filler has been placed. Maybe this is still swelling but Its been two weeks now! Also, it looks like I have tear troughs now and I did not have them before! Im wondering if this is a botched job or radiesse is not good for the cheeks? The dermatologist I went to has been my Doctor for well over 5 years and I never had a problem with restylane or anything else he ever injected before. I will not do this again! What a waste of $500.00!!
I had Radiesse to my cheeks and loved what it did for me.... I am thinking of having ORIs implanted by doc Y or doc R and then filling submalars with the Radiesse OR possibly having just silicone at the orbital rims and submalars... the jury's still out on what I'll do. I'm just nervous about the porex being visible.

Here's a side by side comp. of radiesse and restylane.

What a shock, the women studied only had positive reactions to these fillers. They seem to never have negative results during the "research" portion of product testing.
Supposedly, radiesse will "grow" in your body. No doubt this "growth" is why people can have problems with it. Products that mysteriously "grow" in your face, for reasons no one really understands, in a way no one really understands understandably can be problematic. Thats easy to understand.
