Well clearly Madonna has lost the benefit of any swelling from the first time I posted about her here. She's not made up in these recent photos, but makeup or not the material girl looks extremely gaunt now and almost like she's making permanent fishy face... you know, when you suck in your cheeks and try to make them touch each other inside of your mouth? Anyway, these pics lead me to believe that she had cheek implants done instead of filler because of the amount of definition there. Her lips also look nice and plump...tastefully enhanced...in a way that you wouldn't notice anything if she weren't so darn skinny. I hope that she isn't working herself to death preparing for her tour.

I wish there was a pic of her smiling or just in repose - all of those look like she is kind of mid sentence
however, even so, they do look like submalar implants rather than fat grafting - covered by some filler under the eyes
Surely she's still swollen from whatever she's done. I don't know how many places I've seen these pictures on the net with captions like "ZOMBIE!" or "Why People Shouldn't Have Facial PLastic Surgery." When I first saw one of the photos, I assumed it was just a bad picture. When I saw that the accompanying photos looked just as bad, though, I didn't know WHAT to think. And still don't! I've always been very impressed with how she's managed to stay looking good year after year. Not anymore, unless she's still healing.
One Year Ago:
oh that pic settles it.
she DEFINITELY had a facelift/necklift, submalar implants and possibly some fat grafting... but what you were seeing earlier in the year was the "glow" of residual swelling. In her current pic you can clearly see the outline of her implant... that is not swelling....swelling does not have such sharp demarcations, it is by definition broad and diffuse.
What about her upper lip? What do you think is going on there?
Fifteen pounds would do her a world of good....
What do you think of her look with the submalars now that the swelling seems to have subsided? She definitely needed face and neck work, but I am not sure that such large implants are flattering on her.
look at the shape of this implant

you can see the outline of the implant in her cheek
I have seen other cheek implants this way - even when they are very well done, properly shaped and placed (as hers are) if you are very thin, with very low body fat, the outline show through in certain lighting.
I saw someone like this about 3 weeks before I was going in for cheek implants and it gave me pause.
