I am new here and want to have a lip lift, however, after reading these posts and viewing some of the before and afters, I think one thing is obvious.

The whole trend of "tooth show" looks ridiculous on some people.  Most people don't have any teeth showing (naturally) when their mouth is relaxed and not smiling.  To draw the lip up until you see the front teeth looks very contrived and fake on some of these results photos.

I think a long lip line is distracting, but go easy on the tooth show. It can look like a hare lip, and, frankly, I have to question a surgeon who would perform a surgery to that extreme.

Some people have a natural tooth show because their upper jaw sits lower in the skull, making their front teeth lower than most, and it will show when the mouth is relaxed.  Not a look for everyone, so be conservative in your requests.

It's been 9 months and the LL feels healed.  My left nostril is quite swollen still and numb, it got irritated in the rhino I had after the LL.  Tooth show makes me happy; scar is slightly red in places but very smooth.  I'm happy but I'm dependent on concealer most days.

Now to find a good filler for people with needle phobias.
