plas·tic·tas·tic –adjective capable of being molded or of receiving form; conceived or appearing as if conceived by an unrestrained imagination I’ve created this site for you to have a place to freely discuss your own plastic surgery interests (facial plastic surgery (also including Chin, Cheek and Jaw Implants as well as Rhinoplasty), lip augmentation/lifting, fat grafting, injectables and filler, liposuction & body procedures, and skincare) and/or to speculate on the work of some of our favorite PlasticTastic celebrities so that we can learn about what we do and don't like, how successful various procedures appear and we can gain knowledge and insight from viewing great work or not so great work. On the Forums here you can research doctors by asking other patients their thoughts, view un-retouched before/after photographs, and communicate with other people who are exploring both tried and true cosmetic surgery procedures as well as the latest and greatest advances in the field of aesthetic surgery. Email celebs@plastictastic.com with ideas about celebrities you'd like to discuss and I'll post them for you. Visit the Forums to post questions/concerns/research on various aspects of your own plastic surgery interests. |

Wow - have you seen this lady in the news? Apparently this poor woman got addicted to Plastic Surgery and then to filler injections. Her wallet eventually flattened and then she convinced a doctor to give her silicone to inject herself. When she ran out of that she began injecting herself with cooking oil (!) and then became so bloated and disfigured that she went on the national news to ask for donations so she could pay to have the oil and silicone removed. Now the poor thing is a lumpy mess. Here she is before the removal and after:
Before any PS:
And again after the Silicone/Oil removal:

Thanks to MrsManhattanBeach for suggesting that we discuss what looks like Annette Benning's filled up face. When I looked through still of the upcoming movie, The Women:
Annette did indeed look stuffed and botoxed (pics on left), but in this pic from June (right) she looks perfectly natural. I wonder if she had some temporary work done for the film.
On another note, Meg Ryan seems to have mostly reversed whatever she did to make herself feel better after Russel Crowe:
And I have no idea what Candace Bergen had done, but I don't think it's just weight gain - her entire face looks off in motion.

Thanks to our eagle-eyed member davidbrenton (better profiles coming soon!) for tipping us off to what look like amazing cheek implants on Claire Danes. David noticed her transformation right before her 2003 movie with the hotness that is Joaquin Phoenix, "It's All About Love." I love her new sculpted look, the size, shape and placement are perfect and seemingly enhance her natural bone structure. She's gone from cute to gorgeous.

No doubt about it, Madonna looks great for 50! Even with overly inflated cheeks and a gaunt lower face she still looks great....BUT one of her doctors (or PlasticTastic friends) needs to tell her that her hands need addressing via fat grafting or thermage or fraxel or something! Chris K, the next time you lunch with Madge/Ester/Madonna could you please tell her to finish activating her account here? Her low body fat is not doing any favors for this often neglected tell tale sign of aging.

I used to watch General Hospital back in the days of Luke and Laura and I remember Nurse Bobbie, Jacklyn Zeman, as a gal with super thin lips (and they must have been super thin for me to have noticed that young). It looks like as of 2006 she'd had them tastefully enhanced. I really, really, really hope this recent 2008 picture is just bad temporary swelling of the lips and cheeks. She looks like she called her injector a few bad names right before the needle went in.

I know this one's been discussed and I may be alone on this one, but everytime I see pictures of Katie Holmes with her new nose it just makes me sad. She was actually featured on one site as having had 'good plastic surgery.' I guess it's 'good' that her nose didn't fall off or become severely disfigured but I think her new narrow nose actually emphasizes the crookedness (that was always there and I hadn't noticed before) and makes her look a lot older than her previous wider bridge. She definitely had the cute thing going on before, but now the cute is gone and I just don't see the beautiful. I wonder why Angelia's nose looks so much better to me than her old did, but Katie's looks worse?

Well clearly Madonna has lost the benefit of any swelling from the first time I posted about her here. She's not made up in these recent photos, but makeup or not the material girl looks extremely gaunt now and almost like she's making permanent fishy face... you know, when you suck in your cheeks and try to make them touch each other inside of your mouth? Anyway, these pics lead me to believe that she had cheek implants done instead of filler because of the amount of definition there. Her lips also look nice and plump...tastefully enhanced...in a way that you wouldn't notice anything if she weren't so darn skinny. I hope that she isn't working herself to death preparing for her tour.

Well, Sarah Jessica Parker finally had her chin mole removed by something other than Photoshop. I have to believe that there was a medical reason for the removal because why else would she have waited this long?
And speaking of long, I've burred her chin by a few mms below. Do you think it looks better, worse or is it not really noticeable?

I remember reading in one of my junk magazines a while back that Tara Reid had fixed some lipo that had gone bad on her stomach and gotten smaller implants. In fact I think the doctor who fixed the previous work did it for free because of the publicity he knew he'd get. Well, it looks like it still needs improving. At least if she's going to be running around getting photographed in bikinis in unforgiving sunlight. Any thoughts on what poor Tara needs to do to fix this situation? Thermage? (I had it on my forehead and saw no difference, but I'd be willing to give it a go on the stomach if I were her)...

I think Kathy Griffin has a fantastic sense of humor. She seems down to Earth, irreverent, and like she'd be a very cool person to have cocktails and joke around with. Having said that, I do not approve of the browlift. I think Terri Hatcher's surgeon must've gotten to her...looks like similar work, no? I think that they were high enough before. Now she's starting to look like this guy:

Bette Midler is 62 now and looking really great. Even her skin tone is amazing which makes me think she might've done a lil' fat grafting. I think she could pass for being in her late 40s and at least in these recent pictures, she looks very natural.

How appropriate that our very own Cosmo has detected Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) may have had some help filling out her cheeks in the last few years away from the show. She has definitely done something... look at the definition between her cheeks and her jaw. Small cheek implants or filler maybe? She looks a lot better now no question about it. Thanks, Cosmo!

A while ago I noticed that Rumer Willis started just looking 'better.' When I started looking at pictures there was a pretty obvious change in the depth of her jaw and the length of her chin. I do find myself wondering though if there is a maximum amount that can be burred off at one time and if she will go in for a revision. I'm not trying to be mean, because I do think there's an improvement...but couldn't the doc have been more aggressive? Thanks, Chris K!

Our lovely new member Lola just reminded me of Maria Bello's cheeks which I covet whenever I see her on television. They look enviably real to me (with maybe a little filler to the cheek apples), but anyone with any opions on these beauts ... please weigh in with your thoughts.
